NIAf at Dutch Design Week 2011

The NIAf presents a diversity of projects at DDW 2011. The participants of the international artist-in-residence programme exhibit work and will alternatingly be present and work on their current projects. Digna van der Put(NL), Frauke Striegnitz(DE), Evelien Lohbeck(NL), Jasper Kuipers(NL), Max Porter(USA) and Ru Kuwahata(JP) will explain their work. Digna gives small workshops. In a few minutes time the principle and magic of animation is made clear to the participants. The short animation will be added to the online animation march supporting the threatened animation arts in The Netherlands. Installations with animation incorporated will be at display like Lohbecks Insemination, Kuipers’ Tracing. Also at display is Handelingen by Maarten Isaäk de Heer.
