Max Porter

Max Porter graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 with a degree in film/animation/video. He spent several years as a freelance designer, animator and teacher before meeting his partner, Ru Kuwahata. Since 2007, Max and Ru have directed commissioned and independent works using a variety of animation techniques. At the NIAf, Max and Ru will continue their collaborative explorations of mixed-media storytelling. A pepetual student, Max is interested in furthering his studies of digital filmmaking techniques, photography and cinema history.
